At 5:00 AM I called Cathay Pacific. Did I mention that Jason got an internet phone service for the trip? Skype - phone calls to the US are 2 cents a minute and 1-800 are free through the laptop. Luckily, thanks to Jason, and his special airline status I was able to change my seat assignment to an aisle in the middle 3 seat section for my Boeing 777 flight home. Usually I insist on sitting in window seat however flying 14+ hours by yourself is not a usual occurrence. (Jason and I are wide awake at 5 AM from jet lag.)

Hi Laura,
From this post I am assuming you will be heading home soon, and without Jason. Is this correct? Is this because of your work (Jason's or yours)? How long will Jason be able to stay? How much time will you have together (or will you have time together) after he completes his assignment?

HI Bob,
Yes I am headed home on Monday, Jason on Saturday. Jason is, I think, done with work until Tuesday. At end of next week, he is teaching a course and will be busy with that. Me leaving early was dependant on my work schedule, oh to be retired. :) laura.
